Snapshots: Milan

Last week, my flatmates and I took a trip to Milan. The three of us have been living all together for a year, and while we get on really well in London, we’d never been away together. We found incredibly cheap Ryanair flights in January, £28 return, so decided why not go away for a few days! It was so much fun, and we managed to do and see so much in three days. Here are a few glimpses into our trip.

These little pasta magnets in the airport were so cute
The apartment we rented overlooked a small, quiet courtyard – it was lovely.
Juice box sized wine!
Trams run all over the city, and some of them look like they haven’t been touched since the 1940s.
You can’t go to Milan and not see the Duomo!
So many little dogs everywhere!
One of my flatmate’s colleagues is from Milan and insisted we visit the Luini bakery for panzerotti – little pastries that were basically fried calzone.
The bronze work on the door of the Duomo was amazing – I loved how some of it was shiny from years of being rubbed by tourists
The Galleria
Can’t go to Milan and not have espresso!
These were the strangest tomatoes I’d ever seen – I just had to get a picture!
