Giving my Blog More Love

You might have noticed that I’ve been giving my blog a bit more attention recently. I’ve been much more motivated to write about the things I’ve been up to and share snippets of my life with whoever is reading this. I’m not sure how many of you have been reading, and to those of you who are – hello and thank you! – but I’ve really been enjoying writing more lately.

The internet is so full of ‘graveyard blogs’ – blogs that someone started with great intentions only to give up and leave it sitting there. There have been plenty of good blogs I’ve come across and gotten into, only to see the most recent post is from 2012, and there’s no explanation as to what might have happened. Hell, I’ve been guilty of doing the same. A few years back, I started a blog called Somewhere Beyond the Sea. One of my favourite things in the world is to travel, and I wanted to write about my adventures. Trouble is, being a student isn’t exactly conducive to funding grand travels, so that dream got put on ice and the blog kind of faded away with it.

This blog’s point is more about my life in general, not any one particular aspect of it. I live and spend a great deal of my time in Shoreditch, hence the name, and the fact that most of the content is Shoreditch- or London-centric, but from time to time, you’ll see other things crop up, such as my recent Milan trip.

Anyway, I’m not going to promise that I’ll definitely post on X, Y, and Z days, but I’m definitely making an effort to make it a few times a week. I have a couple of ideas for regular features in the pipeline too, and will be giving them a shot over the coming weeks too. So for those of you who have been reading for awhile, thanks for sticking with me. And for those who are new – stick around, things are only going to get better.
